About The Beloit Neighborhood Preservation Association
The Beloit Neighborhood Preservation Association came out of an interest of neighbors wanting to meet their neighbors for the purpose of building ‘community’ within and around Beloit’s historic districts.
The Beloit NPA is a licensed not-for-profit who’s purpose includes the following:
- The Building of “community” through introducing and bringing neighbors together socially.
- Promoting the preservation of the historic character and property values of Beloit’s historic districts and immediately surrounding “vintage” neighborhoods.
- Undertaking educational efforts enhancing appreciation for the architectural and design heritage of Beloit.
- To engage in projects involving preservation and beautification that enhances the visual appearance and heritage of the historic neighborhoods of Beloit.
It is hoped that the Beloit NPA will evolve to where it provides a real, active community of caring neighbors. An association where being a part provides a conduit to making friends, meeting your neighbors and helping to better the vintage neighborhood we share together.

About this website
This website, or more accurately this Beloit NPA member’s blog is provided to encourage and facilitate conversation between neighbors and friends. Additionally it can provide updates or information on subjects of interest to our membership. The intent is not to have a one-way outward monologue. Rather, you are invited to initiate topics for discussion, update information, comment on other’s posts or otherwise participate in the conversation.
