Need help with your Historic District Old House?

Most of us have experienced the difficulty in trying to find talented and experienced trade and service professionals who do quality work. Additionally, some ‘old house’ projects require a higher level of knowledge, care and sensitivity to do ‘period’ appropriate work. Simply pulling off the old and replacement with what is standard practice on new construction or quickest/cheapest can often degrade the integrity and value of a fine old house. Little bit by little bit a distinctive old house with individual character is denuded and reduced to bland sameness. A general disregard for most anything ‘old’ is common in most trades and among property owners. An opinion. These homes are easy to spot.
